This is my sales policy. All sales will be conducted in accordance with the sales policy; it is the buyers responsibility to read it.
Right to Refuse or Cancel a Sale
I reserve the right to withdraw from a sale at anytime for any reason. If you have placed a deposit, you will receive a refund of any deposits/payments made.
Under no circumstances will I sell a bunny that is sick or currently injured.
Anyone under the age of 18 CANNOT purchase a bunny from me without the signature of their parents/legal guardian. Parent/legal guardian must be present upon pickup.
Deposits & Holds
A non refundable deposit of a pre determined amount is required to hold a bunny, for up to five days unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Deposits are forfeited if the buyer cancels the sale or fails to pick up the rabbit within the agreed upon hold period.
Failure to pick up the rabbit on the agreed upon date may result in forfeiture of the deposit and the animal being made available to another buyer.
If the rabbit unexpectedly dies or falls ill while in my care, the buyer has the option of applying the deposit to another rabbit or a total refund.
At Pickup
Every rabbit is examined prior to leaving my rabbitry and is believed to be in good health at time of pickup.
I do my best to check sexes, but everyone makes mistakes including judges. It is the buyers responsibility to double check upon pickup.
Health & Care
Rabbits may experience stress after moving to a new home. It is the buyers responsibility to monitor food and water intake and to seek veterinary care if necessary.
Buyer agrees to feed same food as seller for no less then three days and then an additional transitional period of mixing food. A quart size bag of pellets will be provided as transition food.
Buyer agrees to keep water and hay available at all times until the rabbit is six months old. After that they must keep water and hay available at all times and may give a proper ration of pellets, for the breed, the age, and the weight.
I am not responsible for any vet fees for the rabbit, nor am I responsible for any supplies needed for the rabbit. I am not responsible for any transportation fees needed. I do not ship my bunnies.
Show & Pet Quality
I cannot guarantee that a show quality rabbit will be a winner, just that it is a show quality rabbit in my opinion.
Pet quality rabbits are not intended for breeding.
I will NOT sell a buck and a doe to the same household if their intended use is pets.
Returns & Rehoming
If at any time you are unable to keep the rabbit I ask that you contact me two weeks before date of return. I will either keep the rabbit or assist in finding it a new home.
In event of return, I will not sell it to a laboratory, pet shop, reptile breeder, or other similar organizations. Instead I will do my best to rehome it to a loving home. If I am not able to rehome it, it will live out its days in our rabbitry.
Photos
I reserve the right to use any photographs of rabbits I have bred for educational or advertising purposes. Photos are the property of Blueberry Buns and are not to be used unless otherwise stated.
Final Agreement
No refunds unless otherwise stated.
Buyer agrees to all previously stated conditions and will do their best to fulfill them.
